Overall, the volume is fairly light in tone, if taken at a surface level. Saint of a Single Flower’s Chapter - A stream of consciousness from the Saint of a Single Flower. Takes place before Tgneru comes to the village and focuses primarily on Adlet’s relationship with his sister. Fremy comes home after one of her killings and it’s pretty cute.įremy’s Chapter - A 13-year-old Fremy gets interested in fashion, after some prompting from Tgneru.Ĭopper Coin - Adlet’s prologue. Goldof’s Chapter - Goldof tries to learn maths. Nash ask Goldof’s vice captain to get Goldof a girlfriend and the chapter is focused on him trying to complete the impossible task. Rolonia’s Chapter - Rolonia fixes herself a midnight snack.Ĭhamo’s Chapter - Chamo plays with pets and hangs out with the saint of salt.ĭaily Intrigue and Love - Goldof’s prologue. Mora’s Chapter - Shows a young Mora’s first meeting with Ganna. It’s notable that this chapter includes illustrations of Rolo without her cow armour and Chamo without her frog armour. The most interesting part of Chamo’s section is that she feels lonely and homesick and it makes you realize once again that Chamo is really just a kid who was incredibly spoiled. Chamo is Chamo and gets scolded by Mora and ends up with a smacked bottom. Rolonia writes a letter to Adlet and has some self-confidence issues. Mora talks with Ganna about her upcoming task and they’re sweet. The Mouse is Looking - A saint-focused chapter told from the POV of a mouse-kyouma. Hans’ Chapter - Told from the POV of a cat as Hans tries to imitate it in order to develop his fighting style. Most of the chapter is shown from the POV of a former Piena guard named Bohmak as he gets curious about Hans and wants to know who he actually is. Spy and Cat - Hans’ prologue features Toulo, the saint of medicine, as she tries to convince Hans to become a Brave and kill the majin. I will be using the translation of theĬhapter names provided on the wiki, for the most part in order to avoid It’s formatted so that there’s a lengthy main chapter beforeĪ shorter character chapter.
The volume mostly functions as a series of prologues for each of the main characters. Also, I haven’t read the English translationsĪnd don’t know how Yen-Press decided to romanize the names so I apologise if I get any terms or names wrong. These aren’t going to be super detailed and I’ll mostly just be talking about the parts that I found interesting.
But I know that the Archive side volume was not licensed by Yen-Press so I thought I’d do a quick summary of the short stories in it for people who want to know more about it. I didn’t review the main series of Rokka no Yuusha because I already knew who the seventh was and didn’t want to accidentally spoil it for anyone.
